Operatives/MEP/Installation Team - Electric Shock (400 Volts) and Electric Burns
Control Measures
- All 400 Volts supplies to be isolated where reasonably practicable, locked off, and labeled appropriately.
- A Permit to Work (PTW) may be considered in certain instances.
- All operatives working with 400V equipment will be suitably trained, and competent, personnel in possession of the correct tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for this installation/MEP activity.
- Only competent, experienced, well-trained, and skilled manpower to work. No trainees to work on live equipment.
