Operatives/MEP/Installation Team - Electric Shock (400 Volts) and Electric Burns

Control Measures

1. All 400 Volts supplies to be isolated where reasonably practicable, locked off, and labeled appropriately.
2. A Permit to Work (PTW) may be considered in certain instances.
3. All operatives working with 400V equipment will be suitably trained, and competent, personnel in possession of the correct tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for this installation/MEP activity.
4. Only competent, experienced, well-trained, and skilled manpower to work. No trainees to work on live equipment.
