9. Methodology
9.1. Dismantle and relocation of the unit
- Electrical power off for the units
- Disconnect the pipes
- Demount the air conditioning unit and cautiously shift to the approved location
- Disconnect the pipes and demount the outdoor condenser and cautiously shift the approved location
- Move all pipes and electrical cable to the approved new location
9.2. Decorative type Split Unit
- Split AC units are identified as per the shop drawings accordingly.
- Appropriately Check and make sure that the Split AC units are observed and inspected closely for physical destructions.
- Check and confirm the Model Number.
- All split AC Units Carefully shift to the location as per the drawing safely.
- Dimensions of supports are marked on the ceiling.
- Holes are drilled on the marks and unfix is inserted in the holes.
- Threaded rods are fixed, and the check nut is tightened.
- Split unit support is inserted carefully through the threaded rods.
- The washer and check nuts are fixed.
- The split AC unit is carefully checked for proper slope for drainage.
- Accessibility for maintenance is ensured.
- The AC Units filter is removed and re-fixed for cleaning purposes accordingly.
9.3. Condensing Unit
- Condensing units are identified according to save drawings.
- Check and make certain that the Condensing devices are inspected for physical damages.
- Check and Confirm the Model Number.
- Condensing devices are shifted to the region as according to the drawing.
- Condensing gadgets are located on the stand.
- Accessibility for preservation is ensured.
- Refrigerant Piping
- Split AC Refrigerant copper coils are selected as per the planning and schedule and as per the approved list of Split AC Units materials.
- Coils Route (CR) is highlighted and marked at the site, as per the approved shop drawings accordingly.
- Prefabricated supports are fixed onto the structure using hand tools as per the marking.
- For the installation of refrigerant, copper coils are to be cut into the required length using the tube cutter with great care.
- The ends are properly cleaned.
- Insert Insulation (closed-cell electrometric rubber foam thermal insulation as in step with the accepted MAR on Copper Pipe, depart 40-50 mm for brazing the joints.
- Braze all the joints and ensure all the joints are leakproof in the refrigerant piping network.
- Complete the insulation at joints.
9.4. Power / Control wiring connection
- The control cable for the AC Units should be as per the engineer’s approved recommendations.
- Wires from power isolators are terminated to Air Conditioning Equipment as per the approved wiring diagram.
