The following are some key lines  from the checklist:

 1.1. Suspended Scaffold should be physically of sound material.

1.2. It should not be damaged.

1.3. The scaffold should not be altered in any way.

1.4. It should not be overloaded in any case.

1.5. It is used for its intended purpose only.

1.6. Means of communication should be available with workers at Platform.

1.7. Suspended scaffold should be inspected and certified by a competent person.

1.8. Suspended scaffold should not be unattended, in case it should be secured and disconnected by all means.

1.9. It should be properly labeled and legible.

1.10. All hardware should be in good and working condition.

1.11. Locking devices are properly installed and in working condition. And are not worn or corroded.

1.12. In case of welding additional safety measures should be available.

1.13. All Electrical Connections should be fixed properly and connected safely.

1.14. Counterweight should be calculated properly as per requirement and match the load capacity of the suspended scaffold.

1.15. All joints are in good condition and rust-free.

1.16. The design platform should be properly and correctly assembled as per the manufacturer`s instruction and design including all parts.

1.17. The platform should be free from corrosion, rust, damage, wear, etc.

1.18. Wire rope length should be appropriate according to the job.

1.19. The wire rope should be inspected and tested properly and properly reeved through sheaves.

1.20. The stirrup sheaves, bearings, and inlet wire guides are in good condition without damage.

1.21. When working near live wires safe distance should be maintained. Do not permit anyone access without prior confirmation from the appropriate authority regarding potential hazards and work conditions. Consider weather conditions before allowing work on the suspended scaffold.

1.22. All fittings are checked and tested under load.

1.23. Strain reliefs are present and connected.

1.24. Emergency stop and secondary brake should be in working condition.

1.25. All workers must use fall arrest equipment at all times. Each component of the fall arrest system, including the full-body harness and rope grab, must be carefully inspected and properly adjusted. Only trained authorized persons are allowed to work with suspended scaffolds.

1.26. An emergency rescue plan is available and understood with review.
